(Jersey City, NJ) – Hudson Community Enterprises (HCE) is proud to announce the launch of an innovative new Floor Care program designed to empower the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the workplace. This initiative is part of HCE’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equal
opportunity for all members of our community.
This new Floor Care Training Program aims to provide comprehensive support and resources to members of the Deaf community seeking employment or looking to advance their careers. The program includes specialized surface floor care job training, personalized coaching, and *access to cutting-edge assistive technologies to ensure that every participant can achieve their full professional potential.

Key Features of the Floor Care Training Program:
- Employer Partnerships: HCE will collaborate with businesses and organizations committed to inclusive hiring practices, providing job placement opportunities for program participants. HCE will build upon its established list of current customers including various Stop & Shops, TJ Max, Marshalls and other locations.
- Job Training and Education: Tailored workshops and training sessions will equip participants with the skills needed in the current job market.
- Personalized Coaching: One-on-one career coaching will help individuals navigate their career paths, build resumes, and develop interview skills.
- *Assistive Technologies: Participants will be provided access to cutting-edge technologies such as speech-to-text software, video relay services, and other communication tools.
- Community Support: A supportive network of peers and mentors will be created to foster professional growth and personal development.
